Tree Felling

If there is enough space, the tree felling technique can be used where a tree is pulled down intact. This techniques requires precision and skill to ensure that the tree falls properly. Though a rare occurance due to space limitations and the close proximity of buildings, our tree surgeons are trained and qualified to use this technique.

Section Dismantle

Section dismantling happens when there is not enough space to fall a tree that is intact. This could be because the tree is too big or the space is not sufficient enough. Section dismantling or section felling is when a trained tree surgeon dismantles the tree section by section from the top down. All of our tree surgeons are trained to do this safely and efficiently.

Crown Reduction

Crown Reduction is reducing the overall volume and visible size of a tree from the top, while maintaining the natural balance and shape.

The reasons for this include:

  • Reducing the volume to make it less susceptible to high winds

  • Thins out the canopies to provide more light

  • Removal of potentially hzardous decay

Garden Maintenance

Garden Maintenance involves a number of areas to keep your garden looking its best.

Some of the services included are:

  • Grass Cutting

  • Hedging

  • Weeding

  • Ivy Removal & Planting

Our Services

Crown Lift

Crown lifting is the removal of or the preparation for the removal of lower branches at a desired height, usually to provide clearance below.

The reasons for this include:

  • Provide increased clearance that would be according to any statutory height clearance requirements

  • Prevent the jeopardisation of the trees' long term future

  • Improve the apperance of the tree

Crown Thinning

Crown thinning is the selective removal of branches from a tree in a way that allows the tree to retain its overall size.

The reasons for this include:

  • The removal of any dead of split branches

  • Increasing airflow by reducing the canopy to increase tree health

  • Reducing the the apperance of a really thick canopy

Deadwooding (Branch Removal)

Deadwooding is the process of removing dead branches from trees. Tree branches die and decay naturally and might fall out of trees onto the property or public space below.

The reasons for deadwooding include:

  • Reduce the hazard of falling dead branches onto people and property

  • Reduce the potential of landing on roads and heavily used areas
